Each activity is developed individually, in order to achieve the objectives outlined by the company’s corporate social responsibility action plan.
By taking part in any of these activitie, you are contributing to the fundraising efforts to finance the environmental education programs.
Every activity is related to the United Nations Sustainability Goals and aligned to Quintana Roo’s State Development Plan.
The CSR activities focus on:

Activities
Bike to the future
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: Unlimited
- In this activity we will provide a bicycle to school-age children in the mayan communities.
- In this way, we help the kids to stay in school despite all of their difficulties.
- They rely on this bicycles in order to get to the schools located miles away from their communities
- Duration:
- Assembling: 1 hour.
- Total time: 2 hours.
Hands on
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: 48 pac
- This activity focus in supporting the mayan community on maintenance work for: schools, health, centers, churches, temples, etc.
- In collaboration with the local population we will improve their public facilities.
- This activity can be adjusted depending on the participants budget.
- Duration:
- Around 2 hours of physical activity outdoors.
Organic Orchards
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: Unlimited
- This activity supports women from the mayan communities to generate compost. We will also lay the land for farming for the crop.
- Duration:
- 2 hours of physical activity outdoors.
Mayan Meal
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: 36 pax
- Along women from the community we will learn to cook traditional tamales, the preparation will be completely organic and with natural ingredients.
- Menu consist on Vegan Tamales wrapped in banana leaves.
- Duration:
- 2 hours.
Jam Factory
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: 24 pax
- Help the local women prepare organic preserves and marmalades from local fruit.
- Divided in groups, participants will engage in the preparation of preserve and marmalades that will be sold at the organic markets.
- Duration:
- 2 hours.
Backpack to success
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: Unlimited
- Focused on the interaction of local children and our visitors. This activity helps them improve their education by providing much needed schools supplies.
- Duration:
- 2 hours.
Mural painting
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: 48 pax
- This activity aims to integrate the visitors and the local children while engaging in an entertaining activity painting an educational mural in their schoolyard.
- The theme will variete between human values and environmental care.
- Duration:
- 3 hours.
Sustainable souvenirs
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: 36 pax
- This activity focuses on the production of your own souvenir.
- We can choose between painting a ceramic plate with a mayan calendar or a wooden handcraft made by a local craftsman.
- By participating in this activity, you help to raise funds to provide schools with teaching material.
- Duration:
- Paiting: 1 hour.
- Total time: 2 hour.
Beach cleaning
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: Unlimited
- This activity consists on visiting a secluded public beach inside the biosphere reserve and retrieve all plastic debris from the mangroves and shoreline
- This activity is available only for physically fit people resistant to hot weather.
- Duration:
- 2 hours.
Reforestation
Capacity Group: Minimum: 10 pax. Maximum: Unlimited
- The goal is to reduce carbon emissions trough the nourish of the local rainforest
- Arranged into teams, participants will learn how to plant a tree and proceed planting the trees in the designated area.
- Only available during rain season.
